In routing mode, the ONU itself can dial the PPPoE session of the customer. With TR-069, SmartOLT stores the PPPoE username and password and sends them to the ONU through the TR-069 server. When the credentials change, your team updates them in SmartOLT, without a visit to the customer.
What it does
- Switch an ONU from a manual WAN to PPPoE over TR-069.
- Keep the PPPoE username and password of each ONU in SmartOLT.
- Check in TR069 Stat that the PPPoE session is connected.
- Compare it with the session on your PPPoE server, for example a MikroTik.
