An installer connects a new ONU at the customer. The ONU must be authorized before the customer has service. On the Install ONU page, the installer does this from a phone, on one simple screen.
What it does
- Find a new ONU on your OLTs by its SN or MAC address.
- Scan the SN from the barcode on the ONU label with the phone camera (Chrome on Android), or type it.
- Authorize the ONU, or finalize an ONU that the office saved for later authorization.
- Check the Rx signal of the new ONU, and check it again after a repair.
- Save the splitter and the splitter port of the ONU.
