Field teams lose time when nobody knows where a fiber runs. On the network map, you draw your outside plant, so your team sees each cabinet, closure, pole, splitter and fiber route. SmartOLT can then trace an ONU back to the OLT and estimate where a fiber is cut.
What it does
- Add distribution cabinets, splice closures and light poles, with their street address filled in for you.
- Place splitters on the map.
- Draw fiber routes with their fiber type.
- Record which fiber goes where at each splice.
- Connect ONUs and second-level splitters with cables.
- Place many ONUs near their splitters at once.
